Cookie Policy (UK)

Updated: 19 October 2026. DOOM Sports is a trading name of Sapper International Ltd. This notice explains how cookies, browser storage and measurement tags are used on doomsports.com. Read our Privacy Policy for information about personal data and your rights.

Your cookie choices

Choose Reject optional to keep essential shopping and security features without optional cookie categories. Choose Accept all to allow all categories, or open Preferences to choose individually and save. Optional categories start switched off. Closing the banner does not give consent.

You can reopen the Cookie preferences control at the bottom of any page and change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal changes future use; it does not undo processing that already took place. We also respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Essential cookies and storage

Essential technologies keep your basket, checkout, requested account access, payment security and cookie choices working. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop you shopping. Blocking essential cookies in your browser may prevent these features from working.

Service and examplesPurposeTypical lifetime
WooCommerce: woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cartKeep basket contents and quantities in syncSession
WooCommerce: wp_woocommerce_session_*Find your saved basket on our server2 days
WordPress: wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*Test cookie support and provide requested sign-inTest cookie: session. Login: up to 2 days, or 14 days with Remember me; removed on logout
Complianz: cmplz_*; WP Consent API: wp_consent_*Remember and communicate your privacy choicesComplianz choice cookies: 365 days. WP Consent API choice cookies: 30 days. Cached banner information may also use local storage
Stripe: __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid and payment security storageProcess requested payments and assess fraud risk__stripe_mid: 1 year; __stripe_sid: 30 minutes. Other payment-session storage varies by payment feature

These examples apply when the relevant feature is used. Session cookies normally end with your browser session. Persistent cookies can last until their expiry or until you delete them. Your browser may shorten these periods.

Optional statistics and marketing measurement

Statistics: Google Analytics, Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics help us understand visits, page use and shopping activity. The statistics choice controls their optional cookie-based measurement. Google Analytics cookies include _ga and _ga_*; Google’s default expiry is 2 years, subject to browser limits and Analytics settings. Automattic services may use tk_* cookies for visit and referral measurement; retention depends on the feature and cookie.

Google Consent Mode communicates your choices to the Google tag. When analytics storage is denied, the tag can still send limited signals without analytics cookies, including consent status and measurement signals. See Google’s explanation of consent mode.

Marketing: WooCommerce order attribution can record the source of a visit or order when this category is allowed. Its sbjs_* cookies normally last for the session; sbjs_session has a 30-minute default. This is separate from essential basket storage. No advertising or retargeting tags have been configured as part of this setup.

Preferences and product lists

Optional preferences remember choices made on the website. Wishlist storage supports products you explicitly save. The recently viewed feature on product pages asks you to choose “Remember products in this tab” before keeping that list; you can clear it using the feature’s control. Browser storage can remain until you clear it, while the recently viewed list is limited to the browser tab.

Service providers and browser controls

Our providers can receive technical information needed to deliver their services, such as network, device and page information. For current provider details, see Google Analytics cookies, Automattic’s Cookie Policy, Stripe’s cookie information, and WooCommerce’s cookie documentation. Providers may process data outside the UK as described in their privacy information.

You can also delete or restrict cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Clearing the choice cookies may cause the banner to appear again. Changes apply to the browser and device you use; make your choice again on another browser or device. Links to social networks take you to those services, where their own policies apply.
